May Park Primary School is recruiting a new Principal. This post represents a unique opportunity to join the leadership team of Excalibur Academies Trust.
May Park Primary School is a popular, three-form entry school and nursery of 620 students in the diverse area of East Central Bristol. The school has considerable potential for the right candidate to bring it back to being the excellent place of learning. The new Principal will have the support of Excalibur Academies Trust Improvement Team and Lighting up Learning to provide additional capacity at all levels to secure the school.
We would like an experienced Head or Deputy Head who is confident and able, who can lead with creativity and vision and who will inspire our children and staff to be their very best in all they do at school. We would like someone to set the very highest standards in order to improve the school.
The school in the past year has already made considerable progress to secure better outcomes for students and has had considerable support from Bristol City Council.
The Principal will inherit a capable business team, and a strong and dedicated staff, which strives to make sure children’s talents, are nurtured in an atmosphere of challenge and curiosity.
In June 2019, May Park will join the Excalibur Academies Trust. We would like a Principal that will work to make the most of the opportunities this new partnership offers the school and who will offer an exciting strategic direction in the full support of the Local Governing Body and the Trust.
